Carrot Cake Porridge

I wanted to take my morning oatmeal to the next level so... Ta-da! Carrot Cake Porridge... Get it into you. Naughties free and packed full of goodness.

Food fact: To reap the rewards from chia seeds be sure to soak them over night. Soaking seeds and nuts activates their internal jackpot of nutrients and dissolves the outer shell of anti-nutrients (which are usually the agents that make you feel bloated or lethargic). 

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup organic oats
  • tbsp chia seeds
  • tbsp flax seeds
  • tbsp hemp Seeds
  • Any other seeds you might fancy
  • 1/2 carrot (grated)
  • tspn cinnamon
  • 1/2 tspn nutmeg
  • pinch of celtic sea salt

Garnish:

  • Coconut Yogurt
  • Walknuts
  • Blueberries

Throw everything in a bowl, cover with water, non dairy/sugar free/milk alternative or raw/grass fed milk and let it soak overnight.

Heat on the stove top in a pot with some additional milk in the morning.

Add the garnish/garnishes of your deepest desires, take in three, long and juicy deep breaths and enjoy.
